And let's not forget the impressive bridges that crisscross the river, allowing for busy commerce to continue and thrive.
The river itself contains other lessons and stories--about the early settlers of the area, the reversal of the river's flow to preserve the purity of Lake Michigan, the Eastland disaster, the Chicago flood, the Chicago fire, and even the traditions of St. Patrick's Day.

why do i have a problem of not being confident in getting a girlfriend a girlfriend?
Counselling has done NOTHING for my problem (so don't dare think about saying that as a suggestion), i have had dates with 3 girls over 3 years and first dumped me, second date was a disaster and third dumped me.
I am confident in everything else in my life, but this problem of not being good enough to find a girlfriend has never left me and has een the reason for me being depressed, particularly when i see other couples.
I have done loads of things (backpacked round europe, australia) gone to uni and made new friends and i'm now living in a house with some friends. So whats rong with me?
we all go through this in life, you need to man up and not worry about you not being good enough. im sure there are lots of women out their who do not have the same thinking. Not every girl is shallow and your not shallow, be patient. check- i only had one gf in my whole 23 years and a couple of dates. but just because of anything else it doesnt make me feel like its the end of the world. you gotta let her find you, im sure shes their. chill bro, if one rejects you, its ok. find another one.
