One of the most talked about phones at the moment is the Motorola Aura. The handset is targeted at a "higher-class" audience, and this is shown by the price tag. Fashion is the key with this phone, as the unique design is extremely stylish and eye-catching.

To start off with, Motorola claim that this is the first phone with a circular screen. Don't forget the Stainless steel housing with etched textures to create it's eye-catching design; and to top it all off, the assisted opening "blade" system for smooth operation.
The above may make the Motorola Aura sound great but what does it all mean? Firstly, the sapphire crystal lens is really difficult to scratch, so you won't have to worry about purchasing a screen protector. The opening blade is made from over 200 individual parts, allowing a fluent and reliable cover for your phone. Attention to detail and reliability has definitely been taken care of with the Motorola Aura.
More on to the technical specification now, and the first thing you take notice of is the circular screen. Not only is this covered with the ultra tough and clear sapphire crystal coating, it has a high resolution boasting 16 million colours and 300DPI. This definitely seems to be the key feature of the Motorola Aura.
Looking more closely at the handset, the phone offers a 2 mega pixel camera. Unfortunately this is considerably less than what is currently being released on today's market, and is probably the phone's biggest disappointment. However the Motorola Aura isn't targeted at the photo conscious market and concentrates on style and communication abilities, something many of us may have forgotten about our mobile phones!
2GB of memory has been built into the phone which is plenty of space to store photos and music. Unfortunately there is no memory card slot to expand your memory, but 2GB is definitely a sufficient amount of storage space.
In conclusion, the Motorola Aura is a beautiful phone. Definitely more for the fashion conscious than the photographers, but with it's design and the materials used to build the device, hopefully it will be reliable for a long time. I predict that many movie stars and celebrities will be owners of this phone.

A question about self defense?
Ok, let's say my friend Joe and I are walking around in the city, and then 4 guys come up to us and start to mug us. I have a pocket knife on me (a Kershaw Assisted-Opening blade), and I whip it out and manage to stab one of the muggers fatally.
Do I get in trouble with the law for that, or does that fall under self defense?
Another scenario:
Let's say I see Joe getting jumped by 4 guys again. I run over to the scene and attempt to defend him, but seeing as I'm easily going to get overwhelmed I pull out that knife again and stab someone.
Do I get in trouble with the law under those circumstances too?
yep. There is no "right" to kill another human being in self-defense. IF you or your friend could not possibly have ran away, called the police, or done something else...then you might possibly have a case for self-defense.
Even in such a circumstance, if you could have simply disabled your temporarily halted your attackers, then ran away, self-defense is not a justification.
Self-defense implies you had no other alternative except to use force. You'd better be able to prove to jury that you used only the minimum amount of force necessary to extricate yourself from the situation.
