Don't you hate all those cheap-looking and inefficient coffee makers being sold everywhere nowadays? Just last month, I had my nth coffee maker break down on me. But it wasn't like it made very good coffee in the first place. It was extremely difficult to clean and took so long to finish making the coffee. And by the time I poured the coffee in my mug, it was already cold.
So I went to the internet and started searching for the ultimate coffee maker. I searched various websites and forums during my search until a review on the Farberware Percolator caught my eye. When I looked at the photograph, I thought the device was some kind of pitcher or thermos, but the then I found out it was actually an old-school coffee maker.
The review proceeded to outline the features and benefits of the percolator-aside from it looking very classy in its silver finish. Plug the device in and it can brew your coffee in record time. The device can prepare one cup of coffee a minute, according to the review. The device is also equipped with a detachable plug.
This means that the Farberware also doubles as a pitcher which you can bring to the dining table for your convenience. The body of the device also ensures that your coffee will keep warm for a significant amount of time. With all these features and benefits, I was convinced that the product was good. So I bought one for myself.
I tried brewing coffee with it when it first arrived. Surprisingly, it brewed my coffee faster that the review said it would. The pitcher was heavy. But the product is supposed to be heavy, so that wasn't a problem. Out of curiosity I tried leaving some coffee in the device for over an hour. When I poured the coffee out it was still warm.
This device really worked well for me. I have been using it for a long time and had no problem with it whatsoever.

I have a Farberware Percolator ...stainless steel. It has alot of build up, oily like...what is the best way to clean it?
Clean a coffeemaker
If your coffee consistently comes out weak or bitter, odds are, your coffeemaker needs cleaning. Fill the decanter with 2 cups white vinegar and 1 cup water. Place a filter in the machine, and pour the solution into the coffeemaker's water chamber. Turn on the coffeemaker and let it run through a full brew cycle. Remove the filter and replace it with a fresh one. Then run clean water through the machine for two full cycles, replacing the filter again for the second brew. If you have soft water, clean your coffeemaker after 80 brew cycles -- after 40 cycles if you have hard water.
