How can I find out when an old Montgomery Ward cast iron cook stove (Bengal 14AF:522A) was manufactured?
My husband was given an old cast iron cook stove made by Montgomery Ward. The information on the top of the stove says that the stove is a Bengal model, with a serial number of 14AF:522A. We can't find anything on the stove to indicate a manufacture date. The family member who owned the stove said that it is very old, but he was unsure if it was an original late 1800's model or a later replica. Thank you.
