Tents and tarp question?
I'm going to buy a tent by Eureka! the apex 2xt cos the reviews seem good
According to them though I'll need a tarp since the floor material is shoddy, Eureka! has its own tarps that you can buy seperatly thats sort of a rip off but I'm willing to pay
for my 7x5 tent, I only see tarp thats 6'-9"x4'-9" will that work for my tent? thats a lot of inches missing off
Actually that's perfect. You want the tarp to be just a little bit smaller than the actual tent floor. If it is the same size or bigger, then when it rains the water goes between the tent and the tarp and pools there. Unless you like sleeping in a puddle, that's not a good thing. So, if it is just slightly smaller that doesn't happen and it still protects the floor well enough.
