The Nokia 5530 is a new member of the XpressMusic series of the company and it has been devised with a 2.9 inches touch screen. Does a flashing LED oscillate the current along the rest of the circuit?
Although it seems to me that the answer is probably yes, I haven't been able to find a definitive answer. If I place a flashing LED in a series circuit will it, when dark, cut power to the rest of the circuit?
Thank you for answers so far. I just want to clarify that, by flashing LED, I mean those LEDs that have ICs built in. I don't expect this changes the answer, though 
Thats exactly what a flasher does, it cuts power to the rest of the circuit momentarily. But you have to be careful with the term oscillating when it comes to electricity, if something is oscillating it usually means that the direction of the flow is changing. The proper term you are looking for is pulsing.
Oh and one more thing, the LED is flashing because there is another device causing the current to mometarily shut off. The LED is not turning off the power, something else is.
