What to charge for a homemade model sailboat?
I made a model sailboat at a summer camp about 20 years ago and want to get rid of it now. I'm moving soon and want to start downsizing on "stuff."
Anyway, it's in good shape, about 20" high, all the pieces still function, it has a stand for display, but also still "sails" on water, etc. I know it's hard to determine without seeing a picture, but I figure I'd ask here anyways...
Anybody have an idea if it's worth anything? Regards.
I've never sold or bought a model sailboat, but I would *guess* that what it's worth might depend partly on the quality of materials and the shape it's in (which you said is good). Maybe you could do a little research, ie look around on eBay, to see what other sailboats are going for. You might even be able to do a google search and come up with something helpful. If I were you I'd do my best to find a price range and then price it somewhere in the middle.
