SatNav devices will point out the quantity of fish available in a particular area enabling the fishermen to cast their nets with confidence.
Colour eco sounder/fish finder is the device which provides exact information about the availability of fish as well as the depth at which it can be located. The information will be displayed on the screen. Apart from that colour net recorder will provide data regarding the quality of fish trapped in the net. Radio Detection And Ranging (Radar) will help to detect any other object within a radius of 30 to 40 KM from the fishing vessel. The SatNav devices determine the position of the vessel indicating the latitude and longitude. Fishermen can see all such data on the display screen. Besides the above valuable information, weather data including wave height and wind pattern are also available to them. Weather forecast will render waning about impending storms or other disturbances in the sea, so that the fishing vessels can be sailed away to safer locations or towards shores. As data provided are obtained from satellites they will be accurate and reliable.
There are various types of fish finders available in the markets. Precious data will be displayed on the monitors. They are used in both shallow and deep waters. Data will be provided even during nights facilitating safer fishing activities in darkness too. Availability of fish in an area of about 100 feet radius from the vessel will be indicated. Fishermen all over the world are equipped with SatNav devices to ensure their safety as well as to improve the quantum of catch. As in the case of all other electronic devices offered for public consumption, SatNav fish finders and other equipments for safe voyage are now affordable even to those people who are less privileged, thanks to the intense competition in the markets. i was able to use my bluetooth gps receiver on my n95 with tomtom, but was wondering if it was possible to like use it on the new ipod touch?
