The K-3L actually has a specialized, weather resistant compartment for a laptop up to a 15.4", which is bigger than many of the other back pack style camera bags out there.
Plus, you get two different larger compartments as well, the lower one is for SLR gear and the upper one is for day gear or smaller items that you don't want clanging around on your SLR. The lower area holds DSLRs like the larger Nikon and Canon models, as well as either 2 large lenses or 4 smaller ones. You can also easily fit in extra batteries and smaller accessories that you might need. You'll find a great, durable divider between the two, that is easily removable in case you want to have one large compartment instead.
One of the main things that I like about the Naneu Pro Adventure is that it was created with the avid outdoor photographer in mind. It's lightweight, weather resistant, comes with a rain cover, and even has a carrier for your tripods. It also has a special air flow suspension system that helps to keep it up off of your back as you walk, which means no more sweaty back from the pack laying down on you when you're hiking in the summer heat. The K-3L also has a steel frame that will keep everything safely snug without worrying about the pack collapsing on your equipment when you set it down.

Are digital compasses better than the older, needle stye compasses?
I keep running into these tiny, free compasses but they don't seem to be too accurate because when I shake them, north always seems to change directions!
Are the digital ones better? Any recommendations on a needle compass that's more reliable? I don't hike or anything but I'm in a new city and knowing which direction I'm headed in will help me learn my way around.
OH,,, I was going to go into a long answer about how old compasses do not point to true north, they point to magnetic north, and modern GIS blah, blah, blah,,,,
DUDE,,, if all you are doing is figuring out which end of the street is north,,, and which is south,,, go with the cheap, non-battery operated compass,,, you can get free or if you have to by one,,,, are cheap.
Accuracy is not that critical, as being a few degrees off or there,,, ain't going to hurt much.
Just hold it away from your belt buckle,,,,
