Holster Clip
A stun baton is another good self defense weapon to use. You usually see security professionals carrying stun batons, but there are several types available to the general public.
What is a Stun Baton?
A stun gun baton is a weapon that you can use on an attacker to shock him and make him fall to the ground. The baton has a high voltage ranging from 300,000 to 1 million volts.Â
It can keep some distance between you and the attacker because the baton can be as long as 15 to 18 inches. There is also a mini stun baton that you can use that is about 10 inches in length, but still carries the same amount of voltage as a regular size one.
Some stun batons run on batteries. Others are rechargeable. Just plug the cord into an outlet and recharge the weapon. It can save you money since you don't have to buy batteries.
How does it work?
You can conceal the weapon inside your jacket or coat. Some batons come with a hip holster that you can clip onto your pants. When an attacker approaches you, you can place the tip of the baton on the most sensitive areas and push the button to trigger the shock.
The best places to use the weapon are on the neck, chest, hips and shoulder. It only takes about 3 to 5 seconds of shock to bring the attacker to his knees. He will be dazed and temporarily paralyzed from the shock. The affects of the shock can last for at least 20 minutes, plenty of time to run to safety and call the police.
The shock travels up and down the sides of the baton. This will prevent an attacker trying to grab the baton away from you. He will be shocked if he grabs it. The high voltage is not lethal and does not cause serious injury. Â
You don't have to worry about an accidental discharge and stunning yourself because most stun batons come with a safety button or an on/off switch to prevent accidents.Â
You can practice using the weapon without trying it out on another person. Just use it on pieces of furniture or any inanimate object to make sure it works and you can get comfortable using it. Â
A stun gun baton is not just for attackers. You can also use it to protect you from dangerous animals. It's a good self defense weapon to have handy when you're out on a walk and a vicious dog is coming near you.

There are several different models made of the P-08 Luger and of the P-38 Walther and these are two entirely different guns. If you can figure out what you have I can look up vales in the Blue Book however your BEST option is to go to a reputable gun shop and have it appraised.
