Hydration Bladder

The importance of hydration is huge in every day life, let alone during sporting activities, where the body is exposed to much higher levels of intensity. Consuming less than adequate fluids before, during, and after a sporting activity, can lead to what's known as dehydration.
As an athlete sweats, which is the body's cooling system, fluid needs to be replaced in order for the body's heat management system to function correctly, if not, then dehydration will occur, which will include a variety of symptoms.
The most Common symptoms of dehydration include thirst, increased fatigue, increased body temperatures and up to 30% loss of performance. The loss of performance is the crucial part of course; this leads to lack of; concentration, endurance, muscular strength and general productivity, a 30% loss in a sporting activity could be crucial, as well as dangerous.
When pushing your body to the extreme, sweat can escape from the body in excess of 1.0L per hour, which relates to 1-2% loss of body weight (for the average person), in just 60 minutes. As far as dehydration goes, prevention is the key, and by following a schedule for hydration, and by replacing the fluids lost during sporting activities, the chances of becoming dehydrated are greatly reduced.
Athletes can become hydrated for a number of reasons, the event maybe excess of 45 minutes long, heat maybe intense, or the athlete doesn't become thirsty, the later being the most important. The most common cause of dehydration is not drinking, due to not feeling thirsty. Different health conditions or state's of mind during sports activities; it is not viable to rely, solely on thirst.
So of course, the question is; how do we stay hydrated and maintain our performance levels?
The best way to stay hydrated is to follow a schedule for hydrating your body, which will date back to a few hours before your sporting activity, but needs to be followed;
o Begin drinking fluids on a regular basis, 2-3 hours before your sporting activity.
o Drink 250ml 15 minutes before exercise.
o Drink 250ml every 15 minutes exercise.

Propane Adapter: http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?cPath=27_48&products_id=3447
Make sure you get a propane adapter. Will save you a good deal of money, and give you more power and range.
"Mini-Rifle": These absolutely suck. But if you want one, get a Tokyo Mauri or Both Elephant (only good thing BE makes are miniatures...).

CLOTHING:
Some information first:
BDUs and ACUs are the most common you will find. BDU stands for Battle Dress Uniform, and until recently, was standard issue in the Army, Marine Corps, and Navy. They are fairly common in surplus stores for just a little bit of money.
ACU stands for Army Combat Uniform, and refers to the style in which the Army has the new uniforms cut and/or the camouflage. They are most common in the Army Digital camouflage, and will run a good bit of money.
COMMON CAMOUFLAGE TYPES:
US Woodland
3-Colour Desert
6-Colour Desert
Olive Drab
MARPAT (AKA Marine Digital -- More & more vibrant colours than ACU)
ACU (AKA Army Digital -- Dull digital colourization)
MultiCam (About the best you'll find if it's genuine Crye Precision, but is also the most expensive on the market. Most versatile available, but the Armed Forces don't use it, as the digital makes it harder to focus on a target -- soldiers have increased defence against snipers and the like)
Cheap US Woodland:

GEAR:
BlackHawk and Tactical Tailor makes about the best gear on the market, and US Surplus is THE best you'll likely find. It's also very cheap, but your selection is limited.
I don't want to pick out everything, since I don't know what all you'll be doing. Sorry about that. You're going to want magazine pouches for your rifle & pistol, possibly a dump pouch for spent magazines until you can put them back into a pouch, and a utility pouch (or two) for things like tools, food, and first aid gear.
I use an H-Harness and ALICE gear. It's the style of load-bearing gear introduced into the US military in 1974 . And yes, MOLLE and ALICE gear are interchangeable, but there will be slight fitting issues. Tape will make it stay easily, though.
If you don't know, ALICE stands for All-purpose Lightweight Individual Carrying Equipment. It's outdated, and a bit less convenient, but puts the weight around your waist and back, as opposed to your chest.
MOLLE (Modular Lightweight Load-Carrying Equipment) is the most common load bearing gear, as it is very versatile. it is also more expensive, though. You can put about anything with MOLLE attachment straps on anything else with MOLLE straps, so you can stack your pouches and gear any way you want. It is common use in the Army, but is being phased out of the USMC.
I wouldn't recommend getting a WEB vest, as you can't change things around if you don't like the configuration, but they're a good-quality, cheap alternative to MOLLE and ALICE.
Drop-leg pouches and holsters are great if you're crouched or lieing down, and can help to distribute weight. I keep my holster on my right leg, and a drop pouch/MOLLE platform (whichever I need to be there -- more often the platform to carry misc. gear in a utility pouch). The drop pouch I use to put loose gear and empty magazines in until I'm in a safe zone.
Great sites for gear are:
http://Tactical.com (military & law enforcement quality)
http://cheaperthandirt.com
http://ebaybanned.com
http://uscav.com (lots of cheap surplus, and military-quality new items)
rddusa.com
imsplus.com
AirSoft sites also have some good gear.

MISC THINGS:
Goggles: Less constricting than a full mask. Don't get mesh/wire ones, though.
Knee Pads: Much more comfortable if you have to drop down to your knees.
Face Paint: Not in any way necessary, will just help you blend in.
Dark colours on bright spots, light on dark spots.
Gloves: Protect your hands, and make them less visible.
BOOTS: get a nice, comfortable pair, and wear them in a bit. Much better than shoes.
Combat/Utility Knife: Not necessary in any way, but can be used if you need to cut or hack at something (a log, fixing gear, etc.). If you're going to get one, get KA-BAR. Actually used by the USMC for a good many years.
