What does rapid transit mean in terms of cats and their digestive system?
3 week orphan kitten suffers from dehydration and this afternoon yellow diarrhea and a little blood at the end. I looked it up and it says rapid transit. But I don't know what that means in the cat world. I got the baby on a special kittens milk replacement and pediatric oral re hydration. I appreciate your help.
Rapid transit means that food is traveling through your kitty too fast and it is unable to absorb water and food properly from the gut. If this goes on for much longer you should take it to the vet, dehydration can cause a kitten to go down hill very quickly
