Blue spot on the screen of my camcorder?
Its a tiny blue dot but it annoys me.Someone told me it was a burnt pixel but others said it wasn't.The blue dot is on the LED screen,the view finder and when I playback on my TV.Any ideas what it is?And the cost to get fixed.
I think its a spot on the lens. This would only appear under certain lighting conditions because of the way the light hits the lens. If it appears on the LCD, viewfinder, and recorded video, the problem has to be with the lens or CCD. If the camera has digital image stabilization, that would cause the dot to move as you described previously. Try cleaning the lens first, if that doesn't work, the defect is probably inside the lens, and you should send it back to have it repaired.
