Light Lamp
Most clip-on lamps are compact, able to be clipped to any surface and are attached to a snaking body so that the light can be directed where it needs to be. These types of lamps are excellent for use as a reading light or placement on a desk used for crafts or study.
Clip on lamps feature a strong clip that can stay attached to the surface even as the lamp is being adjusted. Portable lamps are great for additional lighting where you need it and they are easy to position to illuminate your work area.
These lamps take up very little space and come made out of a variety of materials such as metals and hard plastics. They also come in a variety of colors and finishes that can accent any room decor and illuminate a specific area.
A lamp with a pole arm tends to be around 9 to 18 inches tall; the average clip on lampshade is around 4.5 to 5.5 inches in diameter and often made from a hard plastic material. These lamps can use anywhere from a 13-watt light bulb to stronger 40 or 60 watt bulbs.
Mini clamp on lamps are great for illuminating small areas on a budget, they are also fully able to be adjusted and come in hard plastics, they can use up to a 25 watt bulb.
Every type of clip on lamp has a strong clamping grip and an adjustable neck making them wonderful as reading lamps. There is also on average a ten-foot cord that has on one end an on-off switch built right into it.
Some styles of clip on lamps are even battery powered, which allows you to place them anywhere, and not have to worry about reaching an outlet.
No matter if you need to put on a desk, a bed headboard, or use it as a reading light, a clip on lamp is certain to get the job done. They are perfect for small desks or desks with limited space when you need a lot of light to work.

Lamp light is red on big screen tv, what does this mean?
I have a Mitsubishi TV I think it is a 60 inch screen. The lamp light on it is red. The tv comes on with no picture but sound and then it goes off. Does this mean the tv needs a new bulb or what? I am freaking out here. I need to get it fixed asap!
well if it is a dlp or lcd rear projection tv, then most likely the bulb needs to be replaced or the air filter needs to be cleaned.
prepare to pay at least $200-250 for a new bulb.
go to mitshubishi website and look up owners manual to see how to clean filter and change bulb if needed.
bulbs usually last for like 3000 hours of use.
