Micro Cases: These cases are the smallest Pelican offers and are suited for use in many different applications. There are 12 case models in this category, the smallest of which can only hold flash memory for cameras. The largest Micro Case, the 1060, will hold a variety of items including digital cameras, wallets, cell phones, keys, and any other items of similar size. These cases are small enough to take with you just about anywhere.
Small Cases: Pelican's Small Cases are also designed for portability, yet provide more space than the Micro Case Series. The biggest difference with the Small Case Series is the added option of interior foam padding. These cases are the perfect size for transporting items ranging from large body cameras (SLR's) to small screen laptop computers. The foam option is what really adds value to these cases. The interior foam is completely customizable so all your delicate items fit snugly. This adds great shock absorption capabilities.
Medium Cases: The Medium Case Series take you a step further, providing the same interior foam option as the Small Case Series, but allowing more space for things like a camera and its components (extra lenses, batteries, etc.). These cases also accommodate laptop computers of all sizes, as well as components needed for your laptop (power cables, and other accessories). In addition, the Medium Case Series offers special Emergency Medical Cases, perfect for organizing a first aid kit with everything you could ever need.
Large Cases: Pelican's Large Cases are considerably larger in size, and are best suited for transporting larger delicate materials. These cases are commonly used in the entertainment industry, mostly for transporting expensive video equipment. It says a lot when someone transports a $10,000 video camera in a case that cost's a few hundred dollars. That is a testament to the reliability, and durability of Pelican's products.
