I have an Acer One mini Laptop. I Just got it and I was wondering if I could add memory to it?
It also says in my User guide that I can add a 3g sim card for 3g connectivity. What does that mean? Also it has a place for "Multi-in-one card reader" What is that?
if your laptop is covered by the warranty period given by the vendor, it is strongly recommended not to open/change/alter it as this will void warranty.
your mini laptop is capable up to 1.5GB of ram maximum. so if you purchase the standard 1GB ram then you can still add another 500MB DDR2 SDRAM.
for the 3G, if you have a mobile phone from your GSM provider supporting 3G connectivity, you can use it's sim card to connect to the internet, this is what it means, but I'm not sure about it having a sim card port. Usually you can use a 3G phone to act as a modem to access the internet in your laptop.
