If you should become a successful master chef, you must be available and at your best during the culinary industry's peak hours. Serving a fine meal for dinner is one of the main goals, and this often makes life difficult for those with families or loved ones. In order to become a successful chef, you must be able to work around such obstacles and resign yourself to living outside of the weekend. Now, that you realize you can stand the heat, and you want in to the kitchen. A formal culinary education is a must if you want to make cooking your career, and a top cooking school is just the place to start.

I am 57, unemployed with an MBA and a recent history of job hopping. Don't know what to do.?
My history--the rise and fall of my fortunes: Started as a drafter, got an MBA, was promoted in a healthcare organization to dept. manager handling staffing, purchasing, budgeting, and controlling for 6 years. This was my peak income (professional level). Next, hired on as a marketing VP for a tiny healthcare consulting firm for 2 1/2 yrs. (This paid 15-20% less, but still professional level.) Next, taught public school and did odd temp jobs as a consultant. Next, hired on F-T as a public school teacher for 2 yrs. Next, opened my own furniture store and lost money (no salary for a year, minus expenses). Next, hired on as a paralegal for 1 1/2 yrs. Next, hired on as warehouseman doing the work that required only a GED and physical strength of a 30-year-old (10 months). Next, I tried my hand at Cad drafting but was quickly laid off for lack of experience-paid $12 an hour for 3 months. I hated all of these jobs, from the top down. My strengths are budgeting, analysis and writing.
