2nd or 3rd degree burn?
the other day i burn myself with a hot peice of stainless steel. like 5-10 minutes post welding. anyways... i noticed the actual burned area still has feeling and sensations...and still has hair attached to it....
it blistered a little...now the skin is raw and pink...with the hair still grown in burned area...
its not pretty...
but
can anyone tell me what kind of degree of burn this is? thanks...and will neosporin help it? or what will?
Probably second degree burn. With third degree it would actually look charred and the skin would be peeling back. It is better not to put ointments or oils on a burn, but if you have much blistering it would probably be a good idea to get a doctor to look at it and advise you on how to dress it - or not.
