Streamlight Stinger
The Stinger LED Rechargeable Flashlight is a new version of the Stinger Rechargeable Flashlight. This version has a redesigned body and much brighter LED instead of the old standard bulb. There are two models available with different brightness ratings. There is the Stinger LED and the PolyStinger LED which is made of a polymer plastic material. Each model comes in either a single or dual switch version. The dual switch(DS) model has a second switch on the tail of the light for thumb use.
There are three brightness settings-high,medium and low. This is a handy feature to save the battery if you need light for a long time. The advertised battery life on low power is 7.5 hours. There is also a strobe feature that is truly blinding and confusing if you are looking into the light.
The Stinger LED and PolyStinger LED flashlights will fit the original Stinger chargers. The new lights are available without chargers for a lower price so you can save some money and use your old charger if you have one. There are a few charger options available. The basic charger (10 hours),fast charger (2.5 Hours) and the piggyback charger lets you charge an extra battery at the same time as the light.
Flashlights have not changed very much in a long time--until now. These new rechargeable LED flashlights are so much brighter it is hard to believe unless you see it for yourself. The Streamlight Stinger LED Flashlight is a bright and durable light and is probably the best of the LED rechargeable flashlights.

Why is my streamlight doing this?
okay, yet another dumb question by me. I dropped my stream light stinger last night (AGAIN) and it started... well being weird. I cant turn it off, but it will go off when I put it on the charger. When its off the charger, it goes from dim, to medium, to bright, to medium, to dim and so on. Wtf is going on here? these flashlights are supposed to be amazing. This is like the 3rd time Ive dropped it, and it only fell from the car seat, not my belt(I have a shitty holder. Anyone know where I can get one that actually fits? I need basket weave) Anyway, I took it apart and put it back together and it still wont not do it... Is there some reset button I have to push? help! I got it in January, so my warranty is still good. I dont want to send it back yet. Has anyone ever had this problem? help!
Haven't had any issues with mine. If it's still under warranty just send it back in. It sounds like when you dropped it, it broke. Going to have to get a new one. Make sure you have a replacement in the mean time!
