We have an 06 toyota tacoma 4 door pre runner pickup truck that my husband uses for work but is big enough for us to tote the baby around in if we're using the back of the truck for something. And I drive an 07 volkswagon passat that I adore! We bought it in 08 used, & got a great deal on it... for about 16 thousand rather than what they go for brand new which is 30 thousand plus! It gets great gas mileage (bout 30 mls to the gallon) It's comfy, luxurious, roomy and has a huge trunk for the babies stroller, etc. It's quick, handles curves well, has great traction, and it doesn't feel like a 'mom car'... it still feels like a classy, fun car... even came w/leather and a moon roof... And I love that about it... I'd highly recommend it, and after buying used (one or two yrs old) and finding out how much money you save and the great warranties you can still get... I wouldn't have it any other way now.
