Landyachtz Evo: The Evo is a 11 ply maple downhill machine with a lowered platform, wedged nose and de-wedged tail to make steering better in the front and less in the back to improve stability. Because this is topmount you have a wider truck option.
+ Stable (bomb steeper hills better)
+ Topmount (have a wider tuck option and have better leverage)
-- asymmetrical (bad for freeriding and doing slides like 180's, riding backward is BAD)
-- Heavier (heavier boards aren't as quick and easy to push as lighter boards)
Landyatchz Switchblade: The Switchblade is a 9 ply maple low-platform freeriding board. It features double-drop platform with drop-thru mounting option and a 0.88" drop in the platform.
+ Lighter (good for pushing and isn't a rock, quicker out of turns, gains speed faster)
+ Double Drop (easy to push, stable from low center of gravity)
-- Double Drop (bad for grip (wheel wise), less leverage over trucks)
Over all both boards are good, but I would prefer the Switchblade. There's more possibilities, easy to push, also it's better for sliding which I like.
