Usmc Military
The USMC recruit training is the longest training among the US Armed Services. Joining in this kind of organization is a huge decision so you have to think about it thoroughly and it shouldn't be something that you would just jump into. You have to be prepared for boot camp so you'll have higher chances of being a successful Marine. One way on how you can prepare is by knowing the qualifications and requirements so you'd be able to meet or exceed them.
You may think that the age to enlist in the US Military would be a simple category but it's actually not. Federal Law dictates that the minimum age for enlistment is 17 and that should be with parental consent, if you're 18, there is no need for one to qualify for the USMC recruit training. For the Marines, the maximum age is 28.
So you're age is in but you're thinking what other stuff you have to take care of before undergoing the training. It's not as easy as you think. Just because you're physically fit according to your standards, it doesn't mean that you're fit to be a Marine. Others prepare for one year just to make sure they are really ready. Start a fitness routine immediately and read a lot of stuff about boot camp routines so you can do the actual ones. Run on concrete and work yourself for at least 3 miles and improve on your time everyday. Do a lot of pull-ups, push-ups and sit-ups. You have to basically work on strengthening your core muscle group so you'll pass the IST. You also have to be very comfortable in water and you should be able to do basic swimming techniques.
The military doesn't accept anyone who wants to join, you have to be qualified. Aside from age and physical requirements, the following should also be considered when it comes to USMC Recruit Training:
- Citizenship
- Number of Dependents
- Credit and Finances
- Single Parents
- If you are married to a Military Member
- Education
- Drug/Alcohol Involvement
- Criminal History
- Sexual Preference
- Miscellaneous Provisions

I'm in the usmc, if I smoke pot will it get me out? I don't care about discharges just if I do it will I for sure be out of the military? Also will there be jail time for thisd? I would do it and turn myself in instead of popping on a piss test? I need answers not criticism thank u
