well pump issues. pump is runnng at 30 psi and bladder tank(brand new) is set to 28 psi and still no water .?
we have tried 3 pumps and they are reading 30 psi. and we bought a new Bladder tank and we are still not getting any water to the house. I do think the last bladder tank was bad we found it did not all drain so figured it ruptured. but with new tank and pump we have no water any ideas?
30 PSI sounds kinda low, is your tank lower than the house, if so depending on how much lower, you can have pressure loss due to the rise from the tank to the house, depending on the type of pipe you are using, the length, how many turns in the pipe you could also have some friction loss. Does the pump come on. do you have a gate valve, if so maybe the gate never opened back up when it was turned off, which would not let any water by. Is the pressue switch working properly. Is the pump coming on, if so is it pumping water in the tank. There are a number of things that could be going wrong, you may need to call a plumber.
